Anthony Carr

Anthony David Carr, known to all as Anthony, left this world far too soon on August 29, 2024, at the age of 18. Born on September 22, 2005, in West Plains, Missouri, Anthony was a vibrant soul whose life was tragically cut short by a car accident in Hillsdale, Illinois.

Anthony was a beacon of joy and energy to everyone around him. He grew up in an environment filled with love and laughter, nurtured by his parents, Nicole Carroll and David Carr, and his stepfather, James Carroll. His siblings, Jacob Taylor, Miah Carr, Tyler, Haylee, and Collin Carroll, will remember Anthony as a protective and playful brother who was always ready to lend a hand or share a smile.

From a young age, Anthony discovered a passion for basketball. He spent countless hours on the court. His love for the game was matched only by his passion for the great outdoors. Fishing was a pastime that brought Anthony a sense of peace and connection to nature. He cherished these quiet moments, whether he was casting a line into the Rock River or canal, simply enjoying the beauty of the wilderness.

Anthony's competitive spirit and sense of adventure also found an outlet in the virtual world. He was an avid gamer, engaging in spirited matches and forming friendships with fellow gamers from around the globe. These online communities offered him a platform to share his enthusiasm and revel in the challenges and triumphs of each game.

Anthony took pride in his job and was not one to shy away from hard work. He approached every task with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude that left a lasting impression on his colleagues and supervisors.
