Betty Jo Kaesbauer, a Loving Grandma, Passed Away at Age 68.

Betty Jo ‘BJ’ Kaesbauer, a loving wife, mother, and grandma, passed away peacefully at her home in Rock Island, Illinois, on November 24, 2023, at the age of 68. Born on June 23, 1955, in Arkansas, Betty Jo was the daughter of Steven Huff Brown Jr. and Hazel Norine Brown. She married her beloved husband, Michael Allen Kaesbauer, in August 1979, and they shared 44 beautiful years of marriage.

Betty Jo was a devoted mother to her three children, Michael (Dara), Craig (April), Jessica, and a cherished grandma to her many grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, cooking delicious meals, bowling, and riding motorcycles with her soulmate. She was also an avid thrifter and yard sale enthusiast, always looking for hidden treasures. Betty Jo was kind, compassionate, and generous, always putting others before herself. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by both of her parents and her three brothers; Charlie, Ronnie (Peggy), and Eddie (Wendy) Brown.

In addition to her husband and children, Betty Jo is survived by her grandchildren, Hannah, Camryn (Vince), Clayton, Addison, Tori, Lainey, Emersyn, Loren, Lillie, Bella; and her great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Xavier, and Cash. She is also survived and remembered by her life-long friend, Julie Schomer.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Eagles Club of Rock Island, 5103 11th Street, from 3-6 pm.
