Bradford Michael Entsminger (Brad), 74, Davenport, IA, passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Per Brad’s wishes, no services will be held. Condolences and memorials may be directed to Janel at PO Box 83, Davenport, IA 52805.

Brad was born on November 1, 1947, to Harold and E. Lenora Entsminger. He was raised in Walcott, IA, and graduated from Davenport West High. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam Conflict and was discharged in 1969.

Brad was a meat cutter and owned and operated Arrow Smith Archery, Davenport, for several years ending his working career at Oscar Mayer. He loved being on the river and owned a bass boat for many years. He was an avid bass fisherman winning many tournaments and was even featured in a fishing magazine. Besides fishing and hunting, Brad’s hobbies include making spinner baits, lures and jigs. He loved the outdoors, animals, chocolate and Pepsi. He was a Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs fan. Brad’s children and grandchildren meant the world to him.
Those left to honor his memory are his children Kendal Entsminger, Jason (Laura) Entsminger, Janel Robertson, Kennisha Entsminger, and step-son Shawn (Rachael) Ervin, granddaughters Ashley, Darian, Lindsey, Taylor, Aspen & Isabella, brother Larry (Becky) Flowers, sisters Deb (Ed) Saldana, Marsha Schult and Sandra Greene plus nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends. Brad was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Steve and Hal and brother-in-law, Glenn Schult.
