Brandon Joseph Nazari, 30, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, in Blue Grass, IA., surrounded by family.
Brandon was born on Jan. 26, 1993. After a rough start to life, Brandon found his way home to the Nazari/Whitaker family.
Brandon attended Black Hawk Area Education Center in East Moline IL, from which he graduated high school in 2011. After graduation he moved into ARC’s Heritage 53 and then Schroder House. Despite all the hardships he went through, Brandon didn’t let it stop him from living life to the fullest and making as many friends as he could along the way.
Brandon loved to sing and dance, paint, watch game shows, go down slides and go sledding, generously give hugs and smiles, go on adventures and attend concerts, and tease and roughhouse.
He is survived by his mother, LouAnn Whitaker, father Mike Whitaker, sister Sarah Dotson, brothers Matthew and Nathan Nazari, step sisters Ashley Bramblett and Sarah Rymars, brothers-in-law Robert Bramblett, Matt Dotson and Joe Rymars, sister-in-law Ashley Nazari, uncle Rob (Dixie) Houck, grandfather Bob Houck, five nieces and nephews, and all the amazing and loving caregivers from the ARC.
Brandon was greeted at Heaven’s Gates by his grandmother Connie Houck and his nephew Noah.
