Brenda Block

June 27, 1953 — March 28, 2024

Brenda Ashcraft Block, passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a cherished wife, daughter and sister, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her love of family and her joy for fishing, and love for Elvis. Brenda was born in Lepanto Arkansas; she lived a life filled with compassion and generosity. Her love for her family and her shared adventures brought her immense joy. She leaves behind a legacy of love and countless cherished memories, from family gatherings to enjoying her beloved cat “bubby”. She loved having breakfast and spending time with her dad. Brenda also loved her Friday nights with her dear friend, Desiree. She looked forward to her visits with her sisters the most. Traveling to Texas and having them come back home to visit was a very big and important part of her life. She had an everlasting bond with her “Seesters” that everyone admired. She had so much love for everyone, but her heart was broken, and she was missing her husband, Duane. They are forever together again. Brenda will be greatly missed by all.

A private family memorial will be held for her, and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. May she rest in eternal peace.

Survivors include her son, Shawn Walters (Tracey McGinty); Grandchildren: Raymond, Andrew and Isaac; her father Jack Ashcraft; Siblings: Peggy (Brian) Peterson, Joe (Cheryl) Ashcraft, Jack (Angie) Ashcraft, and Debbie(James) Jansen; Nieces and Nephews: Chad, Eldon, Joey, Brooke, Eric, Marc, and Beth.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Duane Block and mother Mary Jo Ashcraft.
