Briea LaNa Robinson was born in Iowa City, IA, on July 23,1979, to LuAnne Sisk (Robinson) and Willie Anderson, Jr.
Briea was dedicated to God shortly after she was born. During her younger years Briea was always smiling, very curious, and she blessed others with her beautiful spirit whenever she was around. At a young age Briea was infatuated with her lucky numbers 7 and 11, and they seemed to follow her throughout her life.
Briea was a graduate of East High School and she loved everything about her family and friends in her hometown Waterloo. Briea was a strong believer and follower of Christ. She read her bible faithfully and she loved to help others when she could. For years, Briea was a dedicated worker in a nursing home, taking care of others in Waterloo, before she relocated to Davenport, IA, to be a little closer to her mother and her two sisters. Once in Davenport she became a housekeeping attendant at a hotel and worked her way up to the manager position.
Briea loved spending time with her nieces and nephew and she liked to try new things. She adored the beauty of diamonds and jewels, loved to cook, and really loved to listen to music. At one point she was a DJ at KBBG radio station in Waterloo, and was known as Briea Bre.
Briea had a daughter, Nevaeh Milan Robinson, on November 12, 2013. Briea was a great mother who loved and cared for her daughter with love and pride. Briea was a strong-willed woman and stood strong in her beliefs. She carried herself with love, grace, and compassion. Especially when being a mother to her daughter.
Briea is survived by her daughter Nevaeh Robinson; mother LuAnne Sisk and step father Clifton Sisk, Jr. of Davenport, IA; father Willie Anderson of Waterloo, IA; sister Lea Robinson and Lea’s daughter Anniyah of Davenport, IA;, sister LaChari Miles and LaChari’s daughters Ayanna and Amani, son Chad Miles, Jr.; brother in law Chad Miles, of Columbia, MO, and sister Sherronda Wilder of Waterloo, IA.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Melvin and Druscilla Robinson and her paternal grandparents, Reverend Willie Anderson, Sr. and Fredine Anderson.
