Carl Lee Larvenz, 63 of Moline, IL passed away on July 22, 2022, in Davenport, IA.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, with ashes to be spread by family and friends in the many places Carl found special. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Carl was born prematurely to James and Phyllis (Lee) Larvenz on October 30,1958. Carl’s twin sister Carol passed after only six days.
Carl graduated from Moline High School and went to work at John Deere, he was laid off during the early 80’s farm crisis and then graduated from Black Hawk College with and Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and had a successful career with various QC companies working as a product and fixture designer.
Carl had the “need for speed” which he cured with racing boats, go karts, and motocross racing. In the late 70’s and early 80’s Carl was a dominate force in the QC motocross community. He was an active member of the Tri-City MC in Coal Valley, IL, which was his home track.
He is survived by his dog Sparky, his siblings David (Gwen) Lind, Diane (Paul) Smith, James (Diane) Larvenz, Mark (Julie) Larvenz, and Adam Larvenz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and twin sister Carol.
