Carol Matthews

Carol B. Matthews, 58, of East Moline, passed away on January 4, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL. Cremation rites were accorded. No services will be held at this time.

Carol was born on April 23, 1963 to Alto Riley and Darlene (Moore) Sizemore in Peoria, IL.

Her hobbies and enjoyments included taking rides on motorcycles, coloring, crafts, puzzles, collecting Indian artifacts and everything "unicorn," but most of all her true love was spending time with her grandchildren and helping with providing guidance and direction for friends children and grandchildren. She loved all her family and friends and especially helping others.

Survivors, include a son, Darold Strunk for whom she loved with all her heart; granddaughter, Brooklyn, grandson, Que Z Taylor Prather; a sister, Margurite and a very special friend, Jimmy Humphreys. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
