Cecil D. "Beany" Williams, 61, of Davenport, IA, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, Moline, IL.  Cecil was the son of Leona "Ma"  (Neuman) Williams.

Cecil was born on January 21, 1963, in California.  His family then moved to Davenport, IA.  He attended high school at Central High School in Davenport.  Cecil has done road construction, concrete, painting, and warehouse work.  His major enjoyment was his time as a shade tree mechanic.  He loved to tinker and work on his vehicles.  In his spare time, he loved his time with family and friends, fishing, camping, going racing, riding his motorcycle, and going mudding in his truck.

Cecil was the type of man who would do anything for anyone at any time.  He was a caring man.  His sense of humor was contagious, and it always made for a fun time whenever he was around.  Cecil was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.  His love for family was the most important thing in his life.  Cecil had been experiencing some serious health conditions of his own, and even during the bad days, he would still be there for anyone in need.  His time with his children was the most precious time he spent.

Cecil is survived by his wife Stacy (Sabel) Williams, Daughters: Lakota Williams, Jessica (Josh) Hill, Sons: Kyle (Cassie) Williams, Steven Hatfield, and Ryan Lantau, Sisters: Karen (Jeff) Grunder and Ruthie Williams  Brothers:  Tony Williams and John (Sandy) Harkins.  Grandchildren, great-grandson, and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, his mother, Leona "Ma" (Neuman) Williams, and his son, Gage D. (Bub) Williams.

Celebration of life services will be held in February and will be announced at a later date.
