Clarence Cole

Clarence Edward Cole, 80, of Rapids City, IL, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at his home. Private family services will be held at Pittsburgh Cemetery, Keosauqua, IA.

Clarence was born January 29, 1942, in Keosauqua, IA, the son of Grover Paul and Sarah Letitia (Rhoades) Cole.

He shared a special bond with his sister and lifelong caregiver, Norma Smith. They loved listening to music and when Norma sang songs to him. He enjoyed swimming, classical music, taking rides in his niece Roxanne's Chevy Blazer.

He is survived by his sisters, Norma Smith, and Weltha Elvina Rojas, and many nieces and nephews including Roxanne Graham.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and sisters and brothers, Ira Paul Cole, Ray Lawrence Cole, Anna Elizabeth Cole Miller, Myrtle Dell Hamre, Cora Lucille Miller, Clara Arlene Palmer and Francis Eugene Cole.
