Daniel A. Duffy, 69, passed away in Iowa City on July 27. He was born on June 3, 1955, to William C. Duffy and Norma L. (Kostman) Duffy.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemeteryat a later date.
His hobbies included playing computer games, watching television, eating out during scenic drives with Becky, and listening to music while in his home shop. He was especially adept at planning & implementing home improvement projects with Becky and others, even in declining health.
Daniel will be deeply missed by his caregivers, family, friends, Becky, and their two fur babies. He was a cat lover and found pleasure snuggling with Nova and Pickles. He shared funny stories about them and others he had owned in previous years.
Survivors include his significant other & best friend, Becky Carrell whom he met in 2011, her family, a brother James Duffy (Marcia), a sister Maxine Acosta (Henry), and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Vincent and a sister Betty.
