Daniel Prien

Prien, Daniel Anthony, age 60, of South Beloit, IL, passed away on May 28, 2023. During Dan’s life, he was a gentle soul and had a gypsy heart. He loved to be constantly on the go, which resulted in not having a stable job or place of residence. He also served in the Marine Corps. He was a beloved grandfather, father, and son. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nancy. He is survived by his only daughter, Nancy Frezza (Prien), half-brother George, and half-sister Linda.

His family would like to thank Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial for donating their services. Cremation rites will be accorded. An inurnment with some of his ashes will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery, and the remaining ashes will stay with his daughter, Nancy Frezza for a memorial to celebrate his life, which will be announced and take place very soon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to his GoFundMe Daniel Prien Davenport Iowa Fund.
