Danny R Donaldson

Danny Donaldson, 70, of Peoria, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Allure of Knox County in Galesburg. Born to the late Gene Burdette Donaldson and Pauline V. (Pickrel) Donaldson, Danny was a cherished father to Cory Donaldson of Knoxville, IL, and Casey Donaldson of Arizona. He was a beloved brother to Dennis Donaldson of Indiana, Mike Donaldson, Tamie Perez, and Todd Donaldson, all of Galesburg, IL, and is reunited with his late sister, Becky Damitz.

Danny spent many happy days outdoors, nurturing his love for fishing and hunting. He dedicated many years to his role as maintenance supervisor at Glenn Oak Towers in Peoria. Following his retirement, he continued working part-time at Menards as a morning shelf stocker, where he found enjoyment and camaraderie. Danny will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be handled by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline.
