Debbie was a beacon of love and selflessness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Debbie was the cherished daughter of Sharon Durham and proceeded in death by her father Terry Chismark. She was a loving sister to Christine Scutt, Cindy Dunbar, Amber Hulet, Kelly Bly, and Azure Scutt. Her Aunt Leona Sirois held a special place in her heart. Debbie was a devoted mother to her two sons, Luke Cunningham and Craig Combs, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Haliey, Charlie, Nicolas "Nico", Dalten, Maverick, and Sofia.

Debbie's life was marked by her thoughtful and loving nature. She was always there for her family and friends, offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a home-cooked meal. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, filled with the aroma of her delicious recipes. Her love for cooking was only surpassed by her love for her family and the joy she found in spending time with them. In addition to cooking, Debbie had a passion for gardening and mushroom hunting. She found peace and tranquility in nature, often spending hours tending to her plants or exploring the outdoors in search of mushrooms. These hobbies were a testament to her patience and her appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Debbie also had a love for watching drag races. The thrill and excitement of the races brought a sparkle to her eyes and a smile to her face. Her enthusiasm was infectious, making these events a favorite pastime for her family as well. Debbie's life was a testament to the words of Helen Keller: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." She had a heart full of love for her family and friends, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.
