Debra Mahannah

Debra A Mahannah, 62, of Bettendorf passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Clarissa C Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf, Iowa, with a Celebration of Life following at 10:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made out to Katie Mahannah for the family fund. Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, is assisting the family.

Debra was born on November 5, 1959, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of James and Joanne (Paulson) Stark. She married William Mahannah on June 9 in 1984.

She was employed as a preschool teacher for around 16 years at Our Savior Lutheran Preschool.
Debra truly enjoyed being a mother and being a grandmother. She loved playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, going to parks, and being on vacation at Lake Okoboji with them. She was a happy, loving person who knew no stranger.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, WIlliam, daughters, Katie Mahannah and Amy Seward (Nicholas), her siblings, Dianne Zachar (William), Denise Stark (Mark Duffield), Susie Buennig (Keith), James Stark (Julie), John Stark (Heather). Grandchildren, Lily and Andrew Seward. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Joanne (Paulson) Stark.
