Donovan Griffin

Don passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, at home with his wife. He was born in Kewanee, IL, on April 28, 1954, to Clifford and Diane Griffin. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1974. Stationed in Bad Hersfieled, Germany, in 1971-1973. Then stationed in Fort Worth, Texas, 1973-1974. 

Don married Judy on June 17, 1972. They were married for 52 years. He was a Greenbay Packers fan. He enjoyed woodworking, building model railroads, and spending time with his family, and he loved his Luna dog. 

Don is survived by his wife, Judy (Trapp) Griffin; his daughter Sally (Griffin) Jacobs and husband Mike; sons Cory and Rebecca Griffin and Patrick Griffin; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one on the way; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his sisters Linda and Marvin Ennis, Patricia and Jim Foster, and Janet Powers. 

Don was preceded in death by his mother and father, along with his brother Kent Griffin and sister Chris Ince.
