Dorthy Mcallister

Our beautiful 93 year old mom went peacefully home to the loving arms of Our Heavenly Father on 06/06/2023. She was cared for by her daughters at Kim's home in Iowa since last August when we all agreed that a nursing home was not the best place for her to live out her final days.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her husband Fayette (Mac) McAllister, daughter Kathleen Hajeck, sister Shirley Kempfert and her parents Charles and Dorthy Hallam.

Dorthy is survived by:
Daughters; Char Pankros, Patricia (Kevin) O'Connor, Cynthia Calvillo, And Kimberly (David) King; Grandchildren: Megan (Matt) Morahan, Courtney Tuell, Brandon and Ryan (Ali) O'Connor; Emily ( Phil) Nallen, Stephanie Calvillo, Molly (Dave) Villarreal; John, Christopher (Wendy) King, and Jamie King; and Mark (Heather) Arbeen; Great grandchildren: Maria Morahan, Connor and Chase Tuell, Nora, Reagan, and Evelyn O'Connor, Robert and Elizabeth Nallen, Autumn Villarreal, Jacob and Maria Sophia Arbeen.

Mom was always very grateful and thankful to be with family - as family was always the most important part of her life.

Rest in peace mom, grandma and great grandma, your love will live on in all our hearts forever.
