Eda Nipper

September 13, 1958 — November 24, 2023

In the gentle town of Sterling, born in fifty-eight,
Eda Nipper arrived, her spirit innate.
On a September morn, as the world spun its tale,
A life of pure heart and love did unveil.

She danced through the years with a joyous beam,
Collecting her dreams as one would a stream.
With cats, music, and swimming, she found her delight,
And wolves and dream catchers filled her nights.

As the leaves turned gold and the winds whispered cold,
In Davenport's embrace, her story told.
Cancer may have claimed her on that November day,
But Eda's warmth lingers, in hearts to stay.

A mother, a friend, with a touch so kind,
Her daughters Khristina, Jennifer, and Felicia, intertwined.
Stepdaughters Kristi, Sheila, and Sharon shared her light,
And generations followed, from dawn to night.

Rick Nipper, her love, with Derek and A.J.,
Had journeyed ahead where the stars ever play.
Yet here on this earth, her legacy's cast,
With twelve grandkids, greats twenty-nine, and memories vast.

One great-great grandchild, her love did embrace,
In heaven's grand garden, they now share a space.
She worked at Super Pantry, with a smile so bright,
Her friendly soul, generous and right.

"Live well, laugh often, love much," she'd quote,
A line from Bessie Anderson Stanley, which she'd often note.
Her life was a poem, a thoughtful muse,
A symphony of kindness, love, and good news.

So let's remember Eda, with a heart so grand,
A life lived fully, a legacy so grand.
In the whispers of the wind, in the rustle of trees,
In the purring of cats, and the buzzing of bees.

For though she has left to a place beyond our view,
Her spirit of love forever remains true.
Eda Nipper, a soul of such generous measure,
In our hearts, she'll always be a treasured treasure.
