Esther Wanzel
March 25, 1925 — July 30, 2022
Esther Wanzel, 97, of Davenport, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday July 30, 2022,at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
She was a faithful lifetime member of Sacred Heart Cathedral. She had a true gift for baking. Everyone loved her sticky buns and mexican cream candy, not to mention all of the other yummy goodies she made.
She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy.
Survived by her 3 children, Katherine T. Roam, LeRoy Wanzel, Jr, wife (Patty), Anthony R.Wanzel, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We want to thank all of the staff and volunteers at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House for taking such wonderful care of our mom.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to the Clarrissa C.Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.
A private family celebration will be held in her honor.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her Memory Wall.
