Gail L. Rush, 73, of Aledo, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Genesis-Illini, Silvis.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at MerCo VFW Post 1571, and will be downstairs. Food will be served and casual dress is encouraged.

Gail was born on December 12, 1950, the daughter of Nellie (Pool) Scotton.
She worked as a CMA for Mercer County Hospital for years and held other various jobs. She married James Rush in 1972, and later separated. Gail enjoyed baking, bowling, and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gail is survived by her children, Jason (Francis) Rush, San Antonio, TX, Gina (Jim) Saddoris, Sherrard, IL, and Shannon (Casey) Rush, Indianola, IA; grandchildren, Jim Saddoris, Paula Rush, Levi (Jess) Rush, Gianni Montero, and Norma Montero; great grandchildren, Paisley Rush, Wyatt Wade, and Bexlee Rush; siblings, Russell (Rhonda) Scotton, AR, Mitchell (Kellene) Scotton, TX, and Rosa Larue, TX; aunt, Rosalie Taylor, Winfield, AL; and special friend Mary Hedrick, Aledo. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rita Woolam; granddaughter, Jessica Saddoris- Wade; and uncle, Kenny Taylor.
