Ivy Willits

Ivy Lynn Willits 65, of Aledo, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday November 21, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo.

Per Ivys wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will be set up at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, is handling her cremation.

Ivy was born on July 24th, 1958, in Aledo, Illinois daughter of Lary Kasey and Carole Willits. She was a Westmer High School graduate. On, February 28, 1980, she married Mick Willits in Monmouth. Ivy was a long time cook and did house cleaning. Ivy loved to party with Mick. They were the life of the party everywhere they went. Ivy also loved spending time with her grandkids and watch Christmas movies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Royal (Kaylee) Willits of Joy, Illinois, Randi (Mike) Carle of Kirkwood, Illinois; Krystal (the favorite child) Foster of Andalusia, Illinois; 12 Grandchildren; 1 Great grandson with her 1st great granddaughter arriving soon; Siblings: David Kasey of Gilmour, Texas, Mary Kasey of Gladstone, Illinois, Tonya Widmer of Burlington, Iowa, Tammy (Corey) Johnson of Burlington, Iowa, Sonya Brown of Mt, Pleasant, Iowa, Randy (Alexis) Willits of Prairie City, Iowa; 5 nephews and 9 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mick, brother: Robbie Wheeler, Grandsons: Royal McGee Willits III and Daymon Lawrence McGee Crosson, Neice: Bailey Willits.
