Jacob “Jack” Adams, 71, of Moline, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jacob was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 26th 1950. He was the son of Clarence & Thelma (Irby) Adams. Jacob served proudly in the United States Marine Corps, 0311 Infantry, during the Vietnam Conflict. Jack enjoyed traveling the country as an independent truck driver. He was a loving father of Jason Alexander and Angelia Kay Adams. Jack had a great sense of humor, loved life, his family, special friend Sherry, their dog Rudy and Grand Pup Kimura. Jack helped raise his baby girl to become a strong, independent and caring woman. He was a diehard Detroit Lions fan who also loved smoking left handed cigarettes. He was at hippie at heart with a gypsy soul and a man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone.
Survivors include; daughter, Angel Adams, Brother, Daniel Adams, Sister, Carrol Diaz (Jesse), Brother, Paul Junior Wright, thirteen nephews and seven nieces.
He was preceded in death by his paternal father, Clarence Adams, his mother Thelma Blankenship, Stepfather Buck Blankenship, his brother David Davis, son Jason Adams.
