James “Jim” Edward Snider age 86, of Moline IL., formerly of Galesburg IL., peacefully found eternal rest on June 7th 2023.
Jim was born on August 17, 1936, in Peoria IL. The son of Wayne and Mildred Snider (Stewart) who raised him in a loving home along with his younger sister Bonnie Lou Berg who proceeded him in death in 2011.
Deeply missed by his loving family, wife of many years Maryanne, stepson Rocky Adler and grandchildren Brooke and Samantha, along with his children from a previous marriage to Jane Elizabeth Leahy, who preceded him in death in 1978. Daughter, Kelly (Snider) and Ken Worrell and grandchildren Joseph (Leticia) Worrell, great granddaughter Gabrielle, Tim (Miranda) Worrell, Sara (Ryan) Osborn, great grandson Logan. Two sons, Jay and (Brenda) Snider, grandchildren Jacob Snider and Keri Snider. Richard (Joanette) Snider, who proceeded him in death in 2018, and four grandchildren Allegis (Kyle) Sant, Talia, Anka and Ian Snider.
Along with many friendships that lasted a lifetime, he will be remembered for his gregarious personality with a willingness to meet new friends, keenness for the outdoors, enjoyment of archery, being a NFAA member for over 40 years and love of family.
