Jeffrey Weybright passed away peacefully at his home in Moline, IL, at the age of 70. Born in Moline, Illinois, on December 23, 1953, Jeff led a life of dedication, passion, and camaraderie.
A proud graduate of Moline High School, class of 1972, Jeff devoted over 25 years to his career as a truck driver for Duffy Paper Company. His commitment to his work was only rivaled by his love for music and his lifelong passion for sports. Jeff was not only a skilled driver but also a devoted outdoor enthusiast who cherished every opportunity to immerse himself in nature.
He enjoyed the thrill of hunting dove, squirrel, and pheasant, finding peace while camping under the open sky, or sitting quietly, waiting for a bite while ice fishing. His adventures were often shared with close friends, who became an integral part of his life.
Jeff is remembered fondly by his sister-in-law, Cheryl Weybright, of Rock Island, Illinois; his nephews, Michael (Brieana) Weybright of Boise, Idaho; and Thomas (Lisa) Weybright of Washington, Illinois. His legacy continues through his great-nieces and nephews: Addison, Kellan, Audrey, and Samuel Weybright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Laura (Betcher) Weybright, and his brother, Richard.
While Jeff never married, he was surrounded by close friendships that enriched his life. He is survived by three good friends, Frank Bellson of Davenport, Iowa, Michael Johnson of Thompson, Illinois, and Dave Shaw of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who will hold his memory dear.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Jeffrey Weybright's spirit, passion, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
