June Eileen Franklin (Nagle) passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024, at Harmony Utica Ridge in Davenport, IA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 17, 1942, to Wilbur and Lydia Nagle, who preceded her in death, along with her sisters Beverly, Snooks, and brother Pete.

June's life was one of resilience and compassion. Despite facing many challenges, she always showed her strength and unwavering kindness. She was a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a beloved member of her community.

June's journey was marked by significant achievements. She graduated from Scott Community College in 1987, earning her Associates Degree as a Radiology Technologist while raising her six children as a single mother. She dedicated over two decades of her career to Trinity Hospital, where she worked tirelessly as a Radiology Technologist until her retirement in 2009. In addition to her professional accomplishments, June had a creative spirit and a talent for sewing and crafting. She poured her heart into making matching outfits for her children and crafting beautiful flower bouquets for special occasions. Her dedication to her craft was unmatched, and her attention to detail was evident in every piece she created.

June found joy in spending time with her close friends, Joan and Peggy, forming a trio known as the 3 musketeers. Together, they shared laughter, meals, and memorable moments, creating lifelong bonds of friendship and camaraderie.

In her earlier years, June was married to Larry Kirk with whom she had one son and later to Dewain Franklin, with whom she had 3 daughters. And later added another son and daughter from the late Janet Brenner.

The family of June Franklin extends their heartfelt gratitude to all of the staff at Harmony Utica Ridge Davenport, IA, for their exceptional care and compassion during June's time there, especially in her final days. Their support meant the world to June and her family, and they will always be remembered for their kindness and dedication.

A Celebration of Life for June will be held at the Izaak Walton league 8402 N. Harrison St Davenport IA on March 16, 2024, from 1 pm until 5 pm. June is survived by her children, Paul Kirk, Jennifer (Patricia) Bird, Annette Franklin, Ginger (Brian) Bennett, Michelle Brenner, and Joshua Brenner; along with Grandkids, Kelli, Brittany(Chris), Samantha,Regina, Julie(Tim), Alex, Eddie, Britni, Ryan, Jordon, Sage, Zachary, Rose, Billy, Joey.; and Great-Grandchildren, Isaac, Cyrus, Ella, Javen, Noah, Avari, Adelynn, AvaRose, Grace, Rowan, Kinzlee, Willow, Oliver, Owen, and Evelyn.

June will be remembered for her warmth, quick wit, and honesty. She touched the lives of many with her generous spirit and genuine kindness. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.
