Kimberly McIntyre

Kimberly Ann McIntyre, 61, of Camanche, IA, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, Moline. There will be a Celebration of Life at Rock Creek Marina & Campground (Pintail Cabin) on November 9th, 2024 from 4 pm - 8pm. 

Kimberly Ann McIntyre was born October 20th, 1962 in Clinton, the daughter of Lester and Carol (Block) Shadle. Kimberly lived in Camanche her entire life graduating from Camanche High School in 1981. Kimberly married Michael McIntyre on September 17th, 2021. 

She worked at Casey's General Store in Clinton and Camanche for many years, Camanche School District as a bus monitor and at the Laundry Max in Clinton. She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed watching her Cubs play, sitting by a campfire, spending time with her grandchildren and grand puppy, watching Wheel of Fortune, going to see the ocean, hanging out with her best friends Sheila (Dave) Waldorff , Royanne (Shawn) Corby and most of all the love of her life. 

She is survived by her husband Michael of Camanche, one son Derek (Heather) Hoenig of Low Moor, her two grandchildren Blake Hoenig and Karson Hoenig, her mother Carol of Camanche, two sisters Gina Andresen of Clinton, Tammy (Duane) Campie of Camanche, two sister-in-laws Michele (David) Pilon , Tammy (Wendell) Robinette both reside in Florida, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her father Lester B. Shadle, infant brother Roger, brother-in-law Lyle Andresen, a nephew Landis Andresen, mother-in-law Sheila Diane McIntyre, paternal grandparents Elmer & Frances Shadle and maternal grandparents Raymond & Virginia Block
