Larry Lamb

June 22, 1953 — November 12, 2023

Larry Ray Lamb passed away in Bettendorf, IA, at Clarissa C. Cook on November 12, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, at the age of 70. He was born on June 22, 1953, in Mount Pleasant, IA, to the late Marcella and Robert Lamb.

Larry distinguished himself as an intelligent, wise, and handy individual who served his country faithfully. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and an honor graduate from the USAF School of Applied Aerospace Science. Following his service, he led a fulfilling career as an electrician, contributing his expertise to many noteworthy projects while simultaneously capturing the respect and admiration of his peers.

He leaves behind his daughter, Corrina Eriksen, her husband Tom, and his granddaughter, Rachel. He also left behind his surviving sister, Susan Burley, as well as his nephew Robert Hicks, niece Jody Hicks, and nephew Shawn Billing. He was predeceased by his mother Marcella Pauley, step-father William Pauley, father Robert Lamb, sister Nancy Hicks and brother Steve Lamb.

A lifelong pursuer of knowledge and adventure, Larry had a deep affection for photography and wildlife. His most joyous moments were shared with his beloved pets - his dogs Laverne, Shirley, and Mistie, and his cat Charlie. Their faithful companionship brought him peace, as did the serene landscapes of nature he enjoyed.

Larry's legacy lives on in the wisdom and love he imparted, dedication, and the high standard of excellence he upheld throughout his life. He will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
