Laurie Siegle, 75, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ridgecrest Village, Davenport. Cremation rites were accorded.
Laurie was born on March 20, 1946, in Hollywood, CA, the daughter of Richard and Ursula (Walton) Hedges. She received a Masters degree in Education. Her career was spent working in the retail department for Universal Studios, California where she served as the President of the retail workers union. Laurie was well loved and cared for by her students, associates at Universal Studios in California and by all who knew her. Laurie loved to read, watch older movies, chatting with everyone and she enjoyed crocheting many blankets.
Survivors include her daughters, Heather (Jason) Stewart and Heidi (Matthew) Danielsen; grandchildren, Michael (Holly) Crane, Sean Crane, Amanda (Wesley) Quint, Bradley (Angela) Boyd, Katelyn Stewart, Brooke Stewart, Richard Stewart and Alison Stewart, a great-grandson, Elliot R. Boyd and a sister, Sherrie (Dennis) Bobertz along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ursula D. Hedges and her oldest daughter, Kimberly A. Crane.
