Leona dedicated over thirty years of her career to Ballard Companies in Rockford, a testament to her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to her job. Her colleagues remember her fondly as a kind and warm presence in the workplace, someone who always brought laughter and light to the daily grind.
Family was at the center of Leona's life; she cherished every moment with her loved ones, especially during the holidays, when she brought everyone together to celebrate. She was renowned for her delightful birthday cakes, topped with creamy frosting that became a tradition for co-workers and family. Leona’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she welcomed all into her home with open arms, making everyone feel at ease with her genuine kindness and loving demeanor.
Known for her good sense of humor, Leona had a unique ability to find joy in even the simplest of moments. Whether sharing stories or crafting in her favorite chair, she filled her home with warmth and laughter.
An avid reader, Leona found solace in the pages of mystery and romance novels. Leona is survived by her daughter, Marie (Foth) Hassel; stepchildren Andrew Foth, Daniel Foth, Mary (Foth) Jackson, Amanda (Foth) Lenox; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Foth; her mother, Marian Hunt; and her stepfather, Edward Hunt.
Leona Frances Foth leaves behind a legacy of kindness, and laughter. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she cherished. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she shared so freely in her lifetime.
