Linda (Clausen) Znaniecki of Buda, IL, formerly of Paw Paw, IL, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1948, in Mendota, IL, the daughter of Merlin and Gladys (Tucker) Clausen. She graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1966. She married Kenneth Znaniecki on July 7, 1967.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved watching and feeding the birds in Wisconsin, where she retired and lived with her best friend, George (Tater) Hopkins. She enjoyed being a Chicago Bears fan in Packer territory and wore her Chicago Bears clothing with pride. When she was not spending time with her family, she enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales.
She is survived by daughter Amy (Eric) Bishop of Buda, IL, and son Steven (Kelly) Znaniecki of Paw Paw, IL; six grandchildren, Christopher, Lucas, Jacob, Mackenzie, Aiden, and Kendall; as well as one great-grandchild, Callie, one brother Kurt Clausen and her sister in law Colleen Clausen along with many nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Kenneth, a daughter Charlotte Stouffer, her best friend George (Tater) Hopkins, a grandson Logan Znaniecki, 2 brothers Kent Clausen and Jim Clausen and a sister Sally Clausen.
Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL.
