Renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Frank Pittman believed, “fathering is not something perfect men do, but something that perfects the man.”
Dr. Louis James “Chip” Diamond, Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Genesis East Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.
A true “Chip” off the old block, Dr. Diamond is survived by his devoted wife, Kathe, and legions of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; Diamonds, Gumms, Cantus, Andersons, Wells, Wagners, Welches, Heilmanns, Knedlers, and Ryans among them.
With a personality that was just dynamic, chiropractic was his second legacy, as he touched lives, while manipulating spines, his name being synonymous with the chiropractic arts in the Quad Cities for nearly four decades.
Chip was an active member at Sacred City Church and his loss will be felt deeply by those he worshipped with. He will be missed and long remembered by all who knew him, whether it was as “dad”, “grandpa”, Chip, or “Doc”.
Thoughts and well wishes are appreciated, and memorials can be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue. A celebration of life is planned at a later date, with details forthcoming.
