Lynda Ann Estes, born April 30, 1946, died at her home Sunday, February 5, 2023, after a brief but serious illness.
Lynda was preceded in death by parents Tuner H Estes Sr. and mother Helen (Miller) Estes.
Lynda is survived by her brother Turner H Estes Jr., sister Pamela Estes-Hoefer and brother-in-law Jerry D Hoefer Additional survivors include her loving Nephews and Nieces; Nephew Christopher J Estes and wife Reagan Estes, Nephew Geoffrey P Estes and fiance Rachel Chaltry Niece Shelby Ann Hoefer and Great Nieces Layla Jade Reimers and
Avalyn Rose Hoefer. Also former sister-in-law and special friend Sharon T. Piper, her daughters Alli Kuhel, Sydney Kuhel, and Great Nephew Leonard McDermott all considered family. Additional family include cousins Marjorie (Miller) VanWinkle, Vicky and Robert Neitzel, Jeff VanWinkle and Jennifer VanWinkle.
After working many years at Riefes Restaurant as a hostess Lynda retired and lovingly devoted her life to caring for her parents and very special aunt and uncle; Rosemary (Miller) Eklund and husband Oliver Eklund until they all preceded her in death.
Lynda was an avid reader and loved Hallmark movies. She especially adored her cats and dogs over the years. Waiting for her will be the sweetest cat named Mother Kitty, she showed up one day with a huge litter. This “stray” lived with Lynda over 18 years. Also waiting for her and barking his head off will be her dog and best buddy Sawyer. After Sawyer's passing a little puff ball named Teddy arrived to ease the loss and takeover the house.
Lynda will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, she was so loved by many throughout her life. Lynda's memory and love will always be reflected in the heart of the family who loved her so much.
