August 10, 1961 – December 26, 2023

Joe was a loyal, caring man who loved his friends and his dogs. His passion was fishing. He loved spending time on the river or a lake. He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He was a grill cook at West End Club for many years.

He is survived by his two sons, Charles Edward (Buddy) and Robert Joseph (RJ) and two grandchildren. Joe’s two brother’s Mike (Bothell WA) and Todd (Albuquerque NM), many nieces, nephews, cousins, his Aunt Janet Bohannon, Uncle Danny and his stepmother Linda Rucki.

Joe was preceded in death by his sister Julie (2009), his mother Shirley Hancock (2020), his father Neal (Winky) Hancock, and his grandparents. Michelle Kinney was the mother of his two boys. She passed away in 2018. His special friend, Donnie Youngers passed away on October 22, 2021

Joe was liked by everyone who met him. He was also a member of the Crescent Lake Club in Alpha IL, where he loved fishing, helping his neighbors and doing anything that needed doing.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date for his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to family for the care of his beloved dogs, Biscuits and Gravy and his 3 cats, Baby, Shadow and Daddy
