Patsy McIntosh

Patsy Ann McIntosh, née Edwards, was born on March 28, 1937, in Monmouth, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa. She is remembered as a devoted mother, sister, and aunt, whose life was marked by warmth, resilience, and a deep love for her family.

Patsy was the cherished mother of Jay McIntosh and Debra McIntosh, who will carry forward her spirit and values. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Beverly Ide, and her sister-in-law, Beverly Edwards. Patsy’s nurturing nature extended to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is loving remembered by many friends at the Kahl Home and Edgewater on 3rd in Davenport, Iowa.

Patsy faced the trials of life with grace, including the conclusion of her marriage to Ardys McIntosh. Throughout her life, she maintained strong bonds with her family, providing them with love and support through every season.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jon McIntosh, which was a profound loss that shaped much of her later life. Patsy is also survived by the memory of her parents, Ernest and Lois Edwards, and her brother, Lorne Edwards. She is reunited in spirit with her nephew, Todd Edwards, whose memory she held dear.

Patsy Ann McIntosh leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and strength that will not be forgotten. Her family and friends will carry her memory with them, honoring the life she lived and the love she shared.
