Pete Romo

Pete Rangel Romo Jr.

May 9, 1966 - December 30, 2022
Pete Romo was born to Patsy Hipp and Pete Romo Sr. on May 9th, 1966, in Merced California where many of his family and friends reside. Pete was the youngest of his four siblings. Three remain with us today. His only brother, Wesley, and his sisters Connie Martinez and Kimberly Jamieson of Kansas.

Over the course of his life, he traveled the world. In his 20s he served in the US ARMY for four years, where he was stationed in Korea and Honduras. Serving this country was his pride. He was a father to two beautiful girls, Ashley Nanette Romo and Amellia Romo who were also his pride and joy. He dedicated himself to being a father.

Pete was a compassionate, smart, loving man who lived life with a smile on his face and a mischievous gleam in his eye. He brought laughter everywhere he went and was always the life of, the party even up until his passing. He was such a beautiful soul and will forever be missed. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland A’s.

His ashes will be interred at the Rock Island Arsenal Veterans Cemetery to honor his Military service, patriotism, and the great love he had for our beautiful country.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on his Memory Page.
