Sandra Hauer, 66, of Andalusia, IL, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In honor of her memory, please make a donation to your local or favorite animal shelter in her name.
Sandra Kay Woolley was born in Moline, IL, on July 18, 1956, to Wayne and Dorothy (Johnson) Woolley. She married Theodore "Teddy" Hauer.
Sandy will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will be remembered for her huge heart and her love for her family and those who knew her.
She served others as an in-home health care provider for many years. She enjoyed many things as she had a true zest for life and loved to be on the go. She loved living in Arizona, riding horses, having Christmas Dinners with her husband and friends, and The Rooftop in Scottsdale, AZ. Sandy also enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson, fishing, cooking, her dogs: Harley and Bentley, shopping, jewelry, and spending time with her sister.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Theodore; her sons: Rick (Laura) Nelson, Michael (Allyson) Smith, and Josh Hauer; daughter: Jackie Hauer; grandchildren: Rebecca "Becca," Alyssa "Lou," Ben, Kingsley, and Cash; mother: Dorothy; sister: Carol (Mike-deceased) Nicholson; nieces: Michelle "Mickey" (Deren Batterson), and Traci Nicholson; great-nephew: Jacob Batterson, and furbaby Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Albert Wooley, brother, William “Bill” Woolley, and furbaby-Harley.
