Shahnaz Fard

Shahnaz Fard, of Rock Island, IL, cherished mother, sister, and friend, was born on May 30, 1969, in Iran, to Abiss Fard and Haliah Bdrisprir. Her life was tragically cut short on December 26, 2024, following an automobile accident in Silvis, IL.

Shahnaz's journey through life was marked by her enduring love and devotion to her family. In 1993, she married Habib Badrani in Iran, and together they built a family rooted in love and resilience. She is survived by her two beloved children, Sara Badrani of Rock Island, IL, and Milad Badrani of Moline, IL, who were the light of her life. She was also a proud grandmother to her cherished granddaughter and grandson.

Shahnaz was one of six siblings and is survived by her two sisters and three brothers, all of whom reside in Iran. Her strong bond with her family transcended distance, and she carried her love for them in her heart every day.

Professionally, Shahnaz found fulfillment working as a Phlebotomist at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, IA. Her skillful hands and compassionate spirit touched countless lives, and she took great pride in her role within the medical community.

In her personal life, Shahnaz was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved the art of cooking, sewing, and creating with her hands. Her handmade treasures were a testament to her skill and creativity. She also found joy and inspiration in listening to podcasts, always eager to learn and grow.

A graveside service to honor Shahnaz’s life will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the family.
