Sharon K Brown

Sharon K. Brown, 82, of Davenport passed away January 18,2025 at Silvercrest Garner Senior Living, Davenport, IA after living with dementia for many years. Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, Moline, IL.  Per her request, there will be no services. 

Sharon was adopted at the age of 3 by relatives, Charles and Lenice Arnce and was raised in both Wilton and Davenport Iowa. She graduated from Davenport High in 1959. 

Sharon married Duane L. Brown on December 6th, 1969 and he proceeded her in death on January 7th, 2015. They enjoyed over 45 years of marriage. Sharon worked at the Times Democrat, Oscar Mayer and Wal-mart.

Survivors include her daughters, Eva (Pat) Otte, Cathy (Art) Bartleson, Amy (Mark) Kelling and her son Cary Brown. Grandchildren: Trisha, Luke, Elizabeth, Emily, Robert, Andrew, Joseph, Neal, Brandon, Bobby, Sarah, Sydney, Haley, Aidan, Helena, 24 great-grandchildren and her special doll, Micheal.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Lenice Arnce, in-laws Ray and Mildred Brown, husband Duane and her sister Carole (Bill) Lacen. 

A special thank you to her many caregivers at Silvercrest/Garner Farms and St Croix Hospice for their wonderful care in mom’s final days.
