Moline

Sheila Ann Jamieson, 68, died February 15, 2025, at the Charter Senior Living of Moline after a lengthy illness. At Sheila’s request, her body will be cremated and there will be no service.

Sheila Williams was born March 21, 1956, in Silvis, the daughter of Charles “Cliff” Williams. She graduated from United Township High School in 1974 and spent her life in the Quad Cities. Through the years, she worked at the American Rental Association in Moline and retired from Illinois Casualty Co. in Rock Island.

She was married to John Jamieson; they later were divorced. Sheila then made her life with Pearl Nelson, and they were married on June 29, 2014, in Rock Island. Pearl preceded her in death in 2021. Sheila and Pearl enjoyed trips to Chicago to see the Cubs and vacations in Las Vegas. They dearly loved their cats, Tigger and Charlie.

Sheila loved art and anything with leaves on it. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her daughter, Andrea Jamieson of Moline. After Andrea was an adult, the two were always close and enjoyed weekly lunches and traveling to concerts together.

In addition to Andrea, survivors are her son, Eric (Jami) Jamieson, Springfield, Illinois, and grandchildren Zelia and Rowan.

Family and friends are invited to express condolences on her Memory Wall at mvcremation.com.
