Shirley was born on July 9, 1937 to Vernie and Helen Anderson. She lived a simple, free-spirited life most of it spent on Big Island. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, Yahtzee with family and her favorite pastimes included drive-in-movies, spooky movies, watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Star Trek, playing in her bowling league and cooking for her family, mainly Mexican dishes. Shirley was a hard-working woman from her very first job.
Those closest to her will remember her constant butt pinching! LoL
Let us not forget her True Love, Romeo, her dog. She was sure to keep her house clean and loved to color with the kids; she was always there when someone needed her.
She is survived by her children, Machael Marie Triplett, Mark Eugene (Jennifer) Lemon and Samantha Allison Anderson; grandchildren, Josh (Naomi) Anderson, Japeth (Ivy) Spinks, Mel (James) Hesse, Missy (Chad) Ramsden, Elizabeth (Ben) Moon, Nicholas Lemon and Grant Lemon; great-grandchildren, Damon, Zioe, Logan, Japeth Jr., Lily, James, Ella, Malyrie, Chad and Roc; sisters, Jeanette, Anna, and the late Helen, Darlene, Bonnie and Rose and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Shirley’s favorite saying was “we will cross that bridge when we come to it”. In our loving memory of her, we know in a troubled moment she will still be there to help us cross that bridge…WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!
