Stephen Christopher Davis, affectionately known as Steve, was born in Davenport, Iowa on March 30, 1963. He peacefully departed this life on March 18, 2025, at his home in Davenport following a courageous battle with cancer.

Steve dedicated a significant portion of his life to his career as a tool maker at McLaughlin Body Company, where he made lasting contributions through his expertise and skill. He was proud to have earned an associate degree from Hamilton Tech, which served as a foundation for his professional accomplishments. His most cherished achievements were not limited to his career; he took immense pride in becoming a grandpa, relishing the joys that his grandchildren brought into his life.

In his personal life, Steve was remembered as a quiet and kind man whose gentle spirit touched the hearts of those around him. He found comfort in simple pleasures, often seen sitting in his chair watching football or immersed in gameplay on his Xbox. Family events were particularly special to him, providing treasured memories that will forever resonate with his loved ones.

Steve leaves a legacy of love and resilience. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin Davis, and his parents, Tom and Marilyn Davis. He is also survived by his sister, Terri (Dave) Guzman, his children, Dustin Davis, Logan Peck, Lauren Robertson, and Kelsey (Jake) Bedwell, and his nine cherished grandchildren, who were the delight of his life. Nephews & Niece, Zach (Megan) Stoffers, Anthony (Beth) Stoffers, Travis Stoffers, Jessi (Matt) Irwin along with five great nephews and nieces, Jean Korte (aunt), Marilyn Korte (aunt).

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Jessi Davis, Charles and Josephine Korte, and two uncles, Tom and Jack Korte, as well as beloved pets, KaCee the pig and Maggie the dog.

A celebration of life honoring Steve will be planned at a later date. Those who knew him will undoubtedly remember his kindness and the happiness he spread throughout his lifetime.
