Steven Allen Terry, aged 70, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Davenport, Iowa. Born on June 26, 1954, to Kenneth W. and Norma (Gravert) Terry, Steve graduated from West High School in 1972. Steve married the love of his life on June 21, 1975 in Davenport, Iowa. Throughout his life, Steve was known for his reserved and respectful demeanor, always ready to lend an ear to those in need.

Steve's career was marked by a series of positions in various companies including Five Cities Tool Diesel Service Inc., Pony Express, Velocity, and Straight Shot Express. He also co-owned TW Flash Inc., a delivery business, with his cousin, Gail Wood.

A lover of the outdoors, Steve enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling. He had a particular passion for stock car races, a hobby he shared with his brother Punky, assisting their friend Lyle Kammer with his stock car for many years.

Steve was a family man, survived by his sons, Joe and James Terry; grandchildren, Colton and Emri Terry; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Terry; his parents; his brother, Kenneth "Punky" Terry; his uncles, Jens Nielsen, Theodore Johnston and Harrison Terry; his aunts, Marilyn Johnston and Ruth McFadden; his nephew, David Terry; and his cousins, Mike Nielsen and Randy Wood.

A gathering to honor Steve's life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 2-4 pm at the Westend Alano Club, located at 2603 Rockingham Rd., Davenport, Iowa 52802. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made directly to the family for this purpose.
