Teresa English, fondly known as Terrie, was a vibrant spirit born on November 21, 1958, who graced this world until her passing on September 30, 2024. With a strength that could weather even the fiercest storms, Terrie's journey was marked by an undeniable resilience, particularly during her long and arduous battle with cancer, which she faced with characteristic bravery and grace.

For many years, Terrie dedicated her talents as the housekeeping supervisor at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline. In this role, she transformed the space into a tapestry of joy and warmth, decorating with a flair that delighted both residents and families alike. Her passion for embellishing the facility was not merely about aesthetics; it was her heartfelt mission to sprinkle a little magic into the lives of everyone around her, evoking smiles and laughter to brighten their days.

A true lover of life, Terrie was synonymous with laughter and mischief. Known for her playful pranks, she had an extraordinary ability to light up any room she entered. Her rich laugh echoed through the halls of her home and the hearts of those who knew her, a sound that will linger in their memories like a cherished melody.

Terrie is survived by her loving husband, Michael English, who stood by her side through every joy and hardship. She was the proud mother of Cori Moffitt and Nick English, whose lives she filled with love, humor, and unwavering support. As a mother, she inspired resilience and compassion, leaving a legacy that her children will carry forward. She also embraced her role as a stepmother to Angela, Sara, Michelle, and Michael Neff, extending her nurturing spirit to an even larger family.

Her grandchildren—Blake, Kilie, Lexie, Stevie, Bugzi, Elluissa, Alejandro, Gavin, Louis, Malik, Mila, Vinny, Rayanna, Kameron, Lamontt, Nevaeh, Marabel, Skylah—were the apples of her eye, each one a delightful thread in the intricate tapestry of her life. Terrie was also a proud Gigi to ten great-grandchildren, whose childhoods she brightened with her love and laughter.

She cherished her brother, Dennis Skriver, and shared an unbreakable bond with her best friend, Penny Lee. Her sister, Vicki Wallace, and several special nieces and nephews enriched her life, bringing her joy and connection that spanned the generations.

Terrie's heart ached with the loss of her parents, James and Geraldine Skriver, and she remembered with deep love her great-granddaughter, Hayden Mae. She carried the memories of her beloved pets with her, each one a reminder of the unconditional love they brought into her life.
