Thomas "Tex" V. D'Amico, 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 while staying at the Allure Nursing Home, Prophetstown following a long illness of lung disease.
A private service will be held at a later date.
He was born on August 11th, 1946 in Chicago, IL. He had resided in Dixon, IL for the past 12 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and going out for a cup of coffee.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Giacobbe, his grandson, Brandon Giacobbe, his sister Nancy D'Amico, his friend Holly Boelcke, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Happy Tails Animal Shelter.
The family would like to thank Jenna, his caregiver. The Allure Nursing Home and Unity Hospice for his end of life care.
