Tony Stoner

Tony Wayne Stoner was born on April 29, 1954, the youngest of 15 children. Born to Oscar and Thelma (Caldwell) Stoner. He passed away December 14, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loving wife of 46 years, Tamara, and his family.

Tony and Tamara (Gorden) Stoner were married on July 9, 1977.

Tony graduated from Kewanee High School in 1972, working at TSC before getting a position at Pines Trailer Manufacturing as an assembler before moving to the finalizing department; after 13 years, he moved to the Kentville Plant when it became Great Dane as a member of the Quality Assurance Department leaving the company in 2000. He worked at Kewanee Walmart as a stocker and then as a people greeter before retiring in 2016.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Christoper (Sherry) Stoner from Kewanee, IL, and Jennifer Stoner (Roger Tribbett) of Galesburg, IL; seven grandchildren: Marion Stoner of Louisville, KY; Iris Stoner of Greensburg, IN; Angel Mosier of Galesburg, IL; Neenah and Gavyn Cowling of Kewanee, IL, Beatrice Stoner Kewanee, IL, and Ryan Laskey of Galesburg, IL; two sisters, Patricia Bennett of Aledo, IL, and Della Gustaitus of Newton, IA, and one brother, Dan Stoner of Kewanee, IL.

No Services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 21, 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Kewanee Elks Lodge 113 N. Tremont Street, Kewanee, IL.
