Valerie Jo Merrill of Colona, born September 22, 1965, to James and Irene Dugan, passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 57.
As a child, Valerie could be found conspiring with her twin sister. As she got older, she became involved in dance, modeling, and teaching gymnastics.
On April 21, 1984, she married Timothy Merrill, and together, they sought out live music and scenic views in nature, especially along the river. She was passionate about her family, house projects, and writing poetry. Her grand babies were her world.
She was predeceased by her father, James Dugan, and sister, Patricia Dugan.
Left behind are her husband, Timothy Merrill, children, Kasandra Merrill & Christopher Graves, Justin Merrill, Joseph Merrill, and Katie Plemons & Colin Anderson, her grandchildren, Johanna Plemons, Samuel Plemons, Gabriella Anderson, Sylvia Graves, and Jude Merrill-Williams, her mother, Irene Dugan, her brothers and sisters, James Dugan, Edward & Karen Dugan, Patrick & Cathy Dugan, Bradley & Dora Dugan, Terri Elliott, Sandra & Joseph Guzzo, and Victoria & David Hamlett, and many others.
