William John Dunn

William "Bill" Dunn, 78, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 6, 1946, in Port Huron, Michigan, to the late William and Aleen Dunn. He is survived by siblings Kenna Schultz, Paul Dunn, and Phil (Joan) Dunn, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Marcia (John) Dunn-Boychuck, Melanie (Bruce) Christick, and Constance Harlow.

A graduate of Western Michigan University, Bill was a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Defense Department, first in the Detroit area, and later at Rock Island Arsenal. He remained in Davenport after retirement.

Bill has been cremated, in accordance with his wishes, and will be interred near the rest of his family at Lakeside Cemetery in Port Huron, Michigan. A half-hour visitation period will be held at the chapel there at 2pm Saturday, November 9, followed by a brief memorial service and interment.

Cremation was directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, Moline.
