CREMATION SERVICES

Cremation Services

If your family has chosen cremation, we offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place.

Cremation with Private Viewing

Cremation with a private viewing offers a dignified and intimate way to say farewell to a loved one. It allows close family and friends to gather in a serene and personal setting, ensuring a meaningful and reflective goodbye. This type of service provides the flexibility to honor the deceased's wishes and the family's traditions, creating a deeply personal and memorable tribute.

Memorial Service

Our experience has shown that many families today seek more than a traditional funeral. They want to infuse the personality and lifestyle of their loved one into the arrangements. By incorporating photographs or centering the event around a favorite pastime, a memorial service can become a more personal and meaningful tribute.

If a personalized memorial service aligns with your family's needs, we suggest considering the following questions:

  • What did your loved one like to do?
  • What was he or she like as an individual?
  • What was their profession and how did that shape their life?
  • Was your loved one spiritual?
  • Was he or she proud of their cultural or ethnic heritage?

Celebration of Life

Many families today seek a service that celebrates the life of their loved one. We introduce them to the concept of a celebration of life and offer support in designing an event that is as unique as the individual being honored.

We take great joy in collaborating with families to plan a celebration of life for their loved one. While it can be challenging to create an event that both pays tribute to and celebrates the life and spirit of a complex individual, it is also one of the most rewarding ways to honor someone we have loved and lost.

Graveside Service

A graveside or committal service is typically held immediately following the funeral service, providing a final moment of farewell. However, it can also be arranged as a small, intimate gathering, offering a more personal and private setting for those closest to the deceased. This allows family and friends to share their memories and emotions in a more relaxed and supportive environment, creating a meaningful and heartfelt conclusion to the cremation services.

Permanent Memorialization

Keeping an Urn at Home

This is a common choice and families can select the perfect urn for their loved one.

Placing the Urn in a Columbarium (aka, a “niche”)

Many families find comfort in having a final resting place that they can visit.

Burying the Urn

Similar to a casket, the in-ground burial of the urn allows for a final resting place

Scattering the ashes

Some families find comfort scattering the cremated remains in a place that was special to their loved one.
